Rustic yet modern...

Our pet-friendly timber lodge feels blissfully remote, yet easily accessible to top attractions. Hidden away in secluded mature woodland overlooking the famous Langdale Valley. Tastefully furnished, it's 'Old School' but equipped with premium tech.  Privately owned and definitely not a commercial holiday site, this is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a relaxing family break in the heart of the Lake District National Park.

There is one double and two single beds. We sometimes accept a 5th guest aged 5 years or under on the understanding that we do not provide a separate or additional bed space or linens..

Thinking of bringing a dog? It will be very welcome.

- Need to charge your EV?  We have our own facility for you to use.
- Get caught in weather on the fells?  We have private or communal laundry facilities 
- Bringing the kids?  They will enjoy reliable wi-fi and free Netflix along with our X-Box One with plenty of games.
- Bed linens, towels, tea-towels etc. are all provided.
- Beds will be fully made up pending your arrival. 
- Up to two dogs are permitted to accompany your party
- A pet accommodation fee of £30 applies.
- Of course certified service dogs stay for free.
- EV charging and private laundry and are chargeable upon request
